If you’re a film buff then Sky Movies is definitely something to get your hands on whether you’re an existing customer or newbie. With any bundle it can start from €28 a month or even less depending on current offers. Remember to check our page first, and I would advise, don't sign up unless you have found an offer. The same goes for Sky Sports fans, when you sign up for Sky Sports (which starts at €17) make sure you have researched any existing customer or new customer deals. You can watch all the Premiership football matches and of course any GAA games. Extra channels (that very rarely have a live discount) include Sky Sports F1, LiverpoolFC TV (€9) ManchesterUnited TV (€8), Chelsea TV (€8) & Sky Asia (€20)

Sky Extras

Sky have a few extra services to whet your appetite. Sky Go - You can take your Sky TV wherever you are heading on 2 devices and for no extra cost to your Sky TV bundle. So watch the latest Sky Movies premier or the latest footy match with Sky Sports from a device like your smartphone or tablet. Sky Multiscreen - Watch sky from different screens in your house and stop fighting over the remote! This costs €15 a month extra, but we can usually find you a good discount for this service.

Sky offer 3 packages of Broadband, all come with Sky line rental included and a top of the range Sky Hub Sky Broadband Lite - perfect for lite browsing, comes with a 2GB data limit. Setup and Installation costs?

Most new bundles will come with free installation when purchasing online. Installation costs will depends on whether you have a standard or non-standard installation. Unfortunately a non-standard installation (e.g mainly effects those who live in flats) can be an extra cost.

Sky Payment

You will have to set up a direct debit for your monthly subscriptions and these can be viewed online or from your TV with your Sky interactive remote! So you can keep an eye on your account at all times. For payments Sky accepts credit and debit cards from Mastercard and Visa only. Sorry but American Express, Solo or Maeastro cards are out!

Cancelling Sky Subscriptions

Sign into your account online and go to the subscriptions tab. Under Auto renew click the off button. This will stop any future payments and services for that subscription. If you wish to cancel your Sky package altogether then you do need to call Sky and arrange over the phone on 0818 719 819. If you terminate before your contract is up then there will be a charge. However if you cancel within the first 14 days of your Sky service being active, then you don’t need to speak to anyone and all should be well. Do talk to them first before you cancel direct debits. Don’t think “sure be grand!” as unpaid charges will leave your account in debt and cause more issues for you.

Moving House

Sky need at least 2 weeks’ notice if you intend to move home and get set up at your new address, however you can book up to 90 days prior. Depending on if your new instalment is standard or non-standard will depend on the payment required for an engineer to come out. See Sky for an example on what can be expected when moving home. You will be told of installation costs when you book this home move online or call 0818 719 893.
